Uhamiaji Ajira Portal

To use the Uhamiaji Ajira Portal, follow these official steps to register and apply for vacancies within the Tanzania Immigration Services Department.

Registration & Account Creation

Access the Portal: Visit the official E-Recruitment Portal Click on "Register" or "Create Account".

• NIDA Verification: Enter your valid National Identification Number (NIDA). The system will fetch your personal details from the NIDA database once verified.
• Activate Account: Check your email for an activation link. You must click this link to make your account usable.

Profile Completion

Before applying, you must complete your profile through the left-hand menu on the dashboard

• Personal Details: Confirm information fetched from NIDA and fill in remaining fields.
• Contact Information: Enter your mobile number, email, and current physical address.
• Academic Qualifications: Select your education level and upload relevant certificates.
• Attachments: Upload all required documents in PDF format (maximum size 300KB per file).
• Handwritten application letter.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV).
• Birth certificate.
• Introduction letter from Local Government (Ward/Village/Shehia).
  Recent passport-sized photo (JPG/PNG format, ≤300KB).

Submitting an Application

• Browse Vacancies: Click the "Vacancies" tab to view open positions.
• Select Post: Choose the specific role (e.g., Immigration Officer or Constable) and read the requirements carefully.
• Apply: Click the "Apply" button for that vacancy.
• Confirmation: Once submitted, you should receive a confirmation email containing your Application ID.

Tracking Status

• Log in periodically to the E-Recruitment Portal using your registered email and password.
• Check the "My Applications" section to monitor the progress of your application and view any feedback from the department.

Note: If the portal indicates that "the application window is now closed," you will only be able to log in to check results rather than submit new applications.
